Villa Due Palme, the house that the then Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi bought in 2011 in Lampedusa, has been sold. The confidential negotiation was concluded in recent weeks.

The one who bought the property was the economist Gianni Profita, 63 years old, born in Acquaviva Platani, rector of the Saint Camillus international university of health and medical sciences (UniCamillus) in Rome. According to unconfirmed rumors circulating in Lampedusa, the management expert in the multimedia and audiovisual industry sector paid around 3 million euros for the villa.

Berlusconi had bought it for one and a half million euros.

Villa Due Palme – 250 square meters, 8 beds and a large garden – was part of the immense real estate heritage left to the Knight's heirs.
