Never seen Roger Federer, a film is coming about the last 12 days of his career as a tennis champion

The last 12 days of champion Roger Federer's professional tennis career are at the center of a documentary that Prime Video has announced. Directed by Oscar-winning director Asif Kapadia and co-director Joe Sabia, it shows Federer at his most vulnerable and sincere, as he bids farewell to a sport and the fans who have shaped his life over the past two decades. There will also be interviews with legendary rivals as well as close friends Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
“Initially, the idea was to film the last moments of my professional tennis career so I could then show them to my family and friends,” Federer said. “Throughout my career, I tended to avoid having cameras around me and my family, especially at important moments. However, I didn't see any problem in making this documentary because it wasn't meant for the public. However, we captured many intense moments, and it turned into a profound personal journey.”
Presented by Prime Video, the untitled documentary on Roger Federer is a Lafcadia Productions production. The film is produced by Asif Kapadia and George Chignell, and directed by Kapadia and Joe Sabia.
