North Carolina Perv Busted for Child Pornography Just After Getting Bailed Out on Child Sex Charges

A North Carolina man was arrested twice in three days earlier this month for allegedly possessing child pornography and attempting to meet minors online for sexual acts, authorities said.

Police in Mooresville, North Carolina, received a tip on Jan. 21 about a man attempting to use social media sites to attempt to meet minors. The suspect, 21-year-old Mooresville resident Michael Dakota Richardson, admitted to doing so when confronted by detectives and was arrested for alleged solicitation of a minor by computer, police said.

Richardson was placed in a local jail on $15,000 bond, but he posted bond and was released. Investigators subsequently found several items of child pornography on electronics seized from Richardson’s house.

As a result, Richardson was arrested again and charged with 20 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor. He was once again jailed at the Iredell County Detention Center on $40,000 bond, according to Mooresville police.
