The American champion Mikaela Shiffrin has started skiing again after her fall last January during the World Cup downhill in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The first outing took place in Andalo, in the Paganella Ski area, where the US skier trained for a few days in total secrecy.

He alternated physical activity with outings on the slopes (as evidenced by the Olympia Sport Media 2026 Trentino – Alto Adige Südtirol video) without poles and free skiing to recover the automatisms and test the leg that was involved. The US national team has trained on Paganella for years (with Bode Miller and Ted Ligety) and currently the Norwegian team with her boyfriend Aleksander Aamodt Kilde.

Mikaela Shiffrin has now left Trentino to fly to Norway where she will continue her psychophysical recovery in view of the world cup stage in Are. Shiffrin had already trained in Andalo and always incognito last December during a training session of the Norwegian national team on the Olympic slope of the Paganella ski area, which dominates Trento and the Adige Valley.
