The Financial Police carried out checks on the income received and declared by some influencers, recovering 11 million euros that had not been declared to the tax authorities . Among the names that ended up at the center of the operation was Luis Sal , a YouTuber who until several months ago hosted the podcast Muschio Selvaggio together with Fedez. In these hours, Luis Sal defended himself and clarified in a story on Instagram: “I am not a tax evader” .

Luis Sal breaks the silence on the news of tax evading influencers

Luis Sal published a story on Instagram, in which he clarified his position regarding the checks carried out by the Financial Police: ” A very short story of clarification. I am not an evader: I have always declared everything, I have always paid all the taxes, often in advance, on credit .” And he continued by saying that he made use of the collaboration of professionals, precisely to make sure he didn’t make any mistakes:

An investigation is underway: these are normal checks that are carried out. Luckily I have professionals who have been in charge of declaring things properly for years. And we’ll see how it ends. In the meantime, I’m sorry that “Luis Sal evader” is being written, “influencers who don’t pay taxes”… it’s a bit unpleasant. Even me, if I saw myself on the street right now, I would slap myself. So, if you see me on the street, please don’t beat me up.

The Financial Police would have asked Luis Sal for 2 million euros

The Financial Police carried out checks on some influencers for undeclared income. The operation led to the recovery of 11 million euros. The investigations also included the collaborations of influencers with companies, posts on social media, but also content on adult platforms. Thus, the Financial Police was able to verify the income received and that reported in the tax returns, intervening where it found inconsistencies. According to what Ansa reports, the Guardia di Finanza would have asked 2 million euros from Luis Sal and 7 million euros from Gianluca Vacchi.
