In the early afternoon today, Wednesday 6 March, between 1pm and 2pm, violent thunderstorms and hailstorms hit the coastal strip of Abruzzo, causing traffic disruption but, fortunately, no serious damage to people or things.

The phenomena that occurred in Pescara and its province were particularly intense , where, in addition to a large amount of rain, an intense hailstorm also hit which partly also hit the motorway junction-equipped axis up to Chieti .

The central area of the regional capital city quickly turned white and there were some floods in the center but also in other areas which caused problems for the circulation of vehicles and citizens.

Tomorrow, Thursday 7 March, will also be a day of bad weather .
