Even today the Ris of Messina returned to the house of the Altavilla Milicia massacre. After spending the evening of Wednesday 6 March collecting finds useful for the investigations in the house where Antonella Salamone and her two children aged 16 and 5 died, the Ris returned early in the morning today, Thursday 7 March, to further investigations.

The house was searched in every corner, with further excavations carried out in the garden and even in the place where the remains of Antonella Salamone had been found, who died after torture probably carried out by Giovanni Barreca, her husband, and by the “Fratelli di God”, Sabrina Fina and Massimo Carandente. The three, with the help of the couple's 17-year-old daughter, had carried out an exorcism on the woman and her two children to “free the Barreca house from demons”.

On the walls of the house, said the lawyer who deals with Barreca's defence , Giancarlo Barracato , some writings were found. The lawyer revealed this detail to the microphones of the Rai Ore 14 broadcast. “Writings were found on the walls of the house – Barracato continued -. These are long sentences which are probably attributable to verses from the Bible or the Gospel”.

This last detail will continue to be investigated in the coming days while the suspects' meetings with the lawyers continue. In Palermo, Barracato met his client together with the criminologist Roberta Bruzzone. Barreca declared himself “almost dazed” although not sorry for what happened to his family in the house in Altavilla Milicia. According to him, while his wife and children were tortured and killed, the 54-year-old was “almost paralyzed”. “He understood that he had lost his family – declared Barracato – even if he couldn't explain how. However, he immediately also said that 'God's will was fulfilled'”.
