Karl Lagerfeld's 'futurist' apartment up for auction in Paris

Karl Lagerferld's Paris apartment will be sold at auction on March 26th. The brilliant designer who passed away in February 2019 spent the last ten years of his life there, notary Thomas Jousselin, one of the managers of Althemis, the notary firm in charge of the sale, explains to the France Presse agency, confirming press information.
Located in an ancient building on the Quai Voltaire, with spectacular views of the Seine and the Louvre Museum, the apartment was totally redone by Karl Lagerfeld himself “in a futuristic style”, adds the same source, specifying that it is a divided house in three rooms for a total surface area of 260 square meters. The starting price is 5.3 million euros.
